There's no question about it... nursing is one of the best career choices a person can make. The unemployment rate for nurses is always very low... even during bad economic times. "How to Become a Registered Nurse" is a great guide that shows you not only why you should become a nurse but also the ins and outs of becoming one. Highly recommended!

A very basic, unneeded guide to getting into nursing school. I did not find this short guide helpful at all.
This book is great for those who are in the process of choosing career path! It explains the big picture very well for those who have no clue about what is it like to be a registered nurse and to be in the medical field.
The fact that this is written by a professional who has years of experiences makes a big difference! I don't need to google information piece and piece and judge with no basis whether those information and advices are still valid any more.
There are still a lot more to know before making the decision whether or not to pursue the nursing route. And using this book as a general guide really helps!
I have had numerous friends go through school to become a registered nurse, and it's not easy. I picked up this book just because I was curious and bored. Turns out that it's pretty hard to become a nurse, I didn't really realize how much they have to go through to become an RN.
Every state has different exams and certifications you need to get, so make sure to check with your state in addition to what is inside this book. It's a good book to get an overview of what you would need to do.
Becoming a nurse is not for everybody. I know many girls who wanted to be nurses to help others but only knew the brigth side of this career. However, to become a nurse you have to be mentally ready to face very tough situations. Dealing with ill people and their families is not easy.
This book covers that part. It helps you find out whether you are ready to handle some situations. It helps you be aware that the life of the nurse is not pink. But at the same time it can be highly rewarding.
It also covers the education aspect. What degrees you need, how to prepare for your education, how to apply to schools, etc. And how to start a nursing career writing your resume, preparing for the job interview, etc.
For any girl who wants to pursue a registered nurse career this book is a must read.
